The brief

We helped a large Government agency to explain a new target operating model to the 1000+ senior leaders across the affected group.

Supporting senior leaders to become compelling communicators

With 29,000 people working within the department, we knew that senior and middle managers would play a crucial role in onward communications. We developed an approach that would permeate the different management layers of the group, in turn educating and equipping each one to be able to consistently and easily explain upcoming changes. Working with the Director General we drafted a strategic narrative to describe the vision for transformation in a way that would resonate with the target audience. We created a series of accessible events to help them make the connection between the new operating model and their directorates, departments and roles, alongside a toolkit, the contents of which could be flexed according to individual audience needs.
As a result, senior leaders were able to understand how transformation would affect their people and were equipped to acquit their roles as communicators.
